Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy traveled to speak to national troops in the eastern front on Tuesday. The president confirmed that he engaged with soldiers at the military base of the first unit of the Ukrainian National Guard Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya zone, a town approximately 20km from the city.

Volatile Situation in the Region

Recent mapping from a national effort revealed that invading troops had advanced deeper into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though a large portion was not fully held by any party. The conditions are severe, with accounts indicating that invading units were digging in and strengthening posts in certain areas.

Opposition armies continue to advance in the Pokrovsk front and appear to be operating with enhanced confidence within Pokrovsk itself.

Military experts noted that national troops had liberated a significant portion of a opposition incursion in the Dobropillya direction, on the eastern edge of the Pokrovsk campaign.
